It is a top down stockinette stitch knit in the round, with some sea foam lace around the bottom to match those in the matching Elana Seafoam Crop Top.
Knit this in the round bottom up, then pick up stitches around the opening to knit the sleeves. Finished with a drop stitch lace pattern to give a seafoam effect.
This shawl was inspired by the view when flying over the Rocky Mountains from our home in Calgary Alberta to vacation in British Columbia. Even in the month of May we see pockets of snow on the mountain tops.
