This cardigan design was developed to remember a loved one by. The yoke features upside down hearts, because when you lose someone, your heart is turned upside down. I was given a special skein of yarn to design something with, hence this cardigan starts with the yoke. You can use up all of your special skein first to see how the colours pop, then go shopping to find a complementing yarn for the sleeves, lower body, button bands and collar.
Designed to really show off that special skein of sock yarn, (such as the black light reactive yarn for my daughter to wear at laser tag). The feet are done first in a contrast yarn, then the legs are done in the special yarn to let it all shine. The star toe and steppin out heel are chosen to please her sensitive feet, with no seams or excess fabric. The cuff has eyelets for an optional ribbon.
Quick to put on for extra warmth. Choose one colour for everyday wear or your own colour scheme for cosplay. Starts with a provisional cast on at the neck, works downwards, then buttonbands are added, then the hood. We give you the details and chart for the pictured pokeball theme, but you of course can change colours as you wish.
It's a snow day! Big fluffy snow! The children make snow angels and snow people. as the sun starts to set the snow starts to fall again
Knit this throw from the centre out. Finish it with an I-cord bind off. pattern stitches are both charted and written out.
