Designed to really show off that special skein of sock yarn, (such as the black light reactive yarn for my daughter to wear at laser tag). The feet are done first in a contrast yarn, then the legs are done in the special yarn to let it all shine. The star toe and steppin out heel are chosen to please her sensitive feet, with no seams or excess fabric. The cuff has eyelets for an optional ribbon.
Quick to put on for extra warmth. Choose one colour for everyday wear or your own colour scheme for cosplay. Starts with a provisional cast on at the neck, works downwards, then buttonbands are added, then the hood. We give you the details and chart for the pictured pokeball theme, but you of course can change colours as you wish.
It's a snow day! Big fluffy snow! The children make snow angels and snow people. as the sun starts to set the snow starts to fall again
Knit this throw from the centre out. Finish it with an I-cord bind off. pattern stitches are both charted and written out.

WS = wrong side

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Pinhole Cast On: Make a loop of yarn about 1” (2.5 cm) in diameter with the ball end crossing over the tail end. Hold the circle in your left hand, pinching where the yarns cross, and hold the needle in your right hand. * Insert needle into circle from front to back, wrap working yarn around needle, and pull loop through the circle to create 1 new loop on needle. Wrap working yarn around the needle to create a second loop. Lift the first loop over the second loop and off the needle. One loop remains, this is one stitch cast on. Repeat from * until the desired number of stitches are cast on. Once desired sts have been cast on, pull the tail of yarn to tighten and close the circle.
W&T on a RS row: Knit to the stitch where you need to work the W&T. Slip the next stitch purlwise from LH to RH needle. Bring working yarn between needles to the front of the work. Slip the stitch back from RH to LH needle. Turn work so the WS is now facing you to start purling in the opposite direction.
W&T on a WS row: Purl to the stitch where you need to work the W&T. Slip the next stitch purlwise from LH to RH needle. Bring working yarn between needles to the back of the work. Slip the stitch back from RH to LH needle. Turn work so the RS is now facing you to start knitting in the opposite direction.
PKWR & k2tog: Pick up the last wrap at the base of the next stitch. Knit the wrap together with the stitch.
PKWR & p2tog: Pick up the last wrap at the base of the next stitch. Purl the wrap together with the stitch.

Rnd 1: K all sts.
Rnd 2: Kfb all sts. (12 sts)
Rnds 3 & 4: K all sts.
